I think this week against Kimmorley might give us a better in sight into how he'll go at fullback, yes so far he's been a success in attack but I don't think anyone doubted that from the start?
and even though Anasta threw a couple of passes that led to tries, we're much more dangerous when Carney has the ball in hand

Anasta can pick and choose when to inject himself now. His ball running is that much more dangerous because sides are focusing on Carney and Mitch, usually Braith is just facilitating the ball, moving it for those guys but when he picks his times to run or put a play on it can be a killer now.

Carney will make mistakes under the high ball just like every other fullback does, but Im sure Smith took into account the fact that he has two other EXPERIENCED fullbacks in Mini and Perro who can be back there with him on the last tackle, we have a very solid back THREE there. Opposition sides can only put pressure on him alone by kicking early in the count, giving up possession, and taking the risk that he will cut them up on kick returns, linking with his wingers. I think the advantages of having him ther will far outweigh the risks.
