Bennett wasn't the one who dishounered the agreement re coming to the roosters. He made it plain that if word got out that he was coming before the end of the season, he would pull out. Word got out, he pulled out. I commend the bloke for sticking to his guns but wish he did come over.

Wayne Bennett was NEVER going to coach the roosters, his only plan was to stitch up Sticky after he got the aussie job when Wayne was sacked. It was nothing more then a get square that put this club years behind where we should be.

I made myself watch it because of Carney, and I thought he handled himself well, good luck to him, as far as your comment about Gus goes, I think Bennett is the one who pontificates and I dont mind him putting as much shit on Bennett as he likes, that pious prick lost me when he backed out of the deal he agreed to at the Roosters, hes the one who makes himself out to be holier than thou.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Bennett, and his quoted comments did seem a little bit off, but its difficult to hear more of Gus's self important ranting.
