Why the hell would Smith start Kouparitsas

can't understand why Smith would start Kouparitsas, his defence is no better than Jaubs and as we saw in the trials his service from dummy half is crap, also not a fan of dropping Jones off the bench, I guess time will tell but not impressed with this first up move.

When the game started I agreed, but Koops played pretty well.

I am definitely not a fan of Koops and usually bag him constantly, but he payed his role well today. Well done Koops!

I didnt mind, was solid in defence and thas what we needed against there size. After a while when they got tired in comes Jaubs who causes havoc.

I reckon Kouparitsis was put out there to start mainly to bolster our size first up against the overweight lardarse Vermin.

It worked a treat - he did the tough stuff early and when the Vermin tired (which didn't take long) Jaumbs was bought on.

Not sure that would be the plan against the Tigers unless Jaubs is injured.

Koups did well today...he threw the pass for Mitch to run into the hole for the first try...his dummy half play was good...his defence was good...he did a good job out there today as part of a 17 man group and can enjpy the win like us...bravo Levendi...

I can understand why Koops started - it was just a matter of counteracting the size of the vermin forward pack. What I can't understand just yet is why Smith loves Koops so much but I'm prepared to keep an open mind on the matter and be proven wrong.

Did you also notice that Smith had a lot backs running the initial hit ups at the beginning of the game.
