  • Dave taylor???

i would be running the attack down his side every chance they get. burn him out quickly and let him give away stupid penalties like he did in the chariety shield!!

With Burges and Taylor there's a possibility they could give away more penalties than us!

Personally I'd be trying to single Sandow out though.

And they will be doing the same with our players, eg Ryles.

Aslong as we win i dont care who we target

I have a good mate here in Brisbane, very big footy fan, reckons Taylor wont be much when hes not getting the quality ball he used to get from Lockyer, Broncos let him go because he wouldnt put in at training and blows up after about 5 minutes. I dont think he will be a worry.

I saw Taylor up close on Saturday and was shocked at his size. He is definately an over weight fatty. He was struggling to make minutes on the field and spent a shitload of time walking the sideline.

Run at him Todd 'Carnage' Carney every opportunity you get.

Souths pack is massively overrated and Sunday March 14 will prove it.

They are a big pack and their success will depend on how the NRL decide the speed of the game should go this season.

If they allow slow play the balls they will be tough to beat in the middle of the park, however if the game is played at break neck speed then they will struggle.

they have plenty of big name players but that's all they are at this point of the year.

I'll bet you a beer right now they gain more meters then us on that Sunday.

                        BG,
I like how you have analysed this and agree.
Personally, I question whether their big forwards have any lateral movement. For mine, O'Melley didn't have lateral movement and was easily shown up for not having it.
The speed of the game and lateral movement may determine Souths success or failure this year.

Dave Taylor is and always will be a hit and miss type performer. Consistency has never been his strong point and that's something he certainly won't learn at the Vermin.

He will end up getting paid huge money for 6-10 reasonable games a season. That's about all he's shown he's capable of.

I am shaking my head reading this thread

The guy is just about the best forward in the game. If the Roosters had of signed him for this year you guys would be talking him up. Seeming you didn't it's a baggathon on the guy.

We'll see come Sunday week...I will send you all a box of red, white and blue tissues.

Best forward in the game........thats why the Broncos let him go.....hes a lazy trainer and overweight, cant put in any long term effort, wants to be a 5/8th or centre. Looked good running of great passes from Lockyer......but wont be in the hunt this year with the rabble.

Best forward in the game..???....hes not even the best forward at Souths.
