From what i read on here, no one likes the new jersey & i have to agree, it's not what we'd hoped for, but the Steggles logo does look good on it.

The simple white text looks a lot better then the western union one did & that fact that it doesn't dominate the jersey the way samsung did makes it a good fit for our colours.

I just hope we get a better looking strip for it to sit on next year. I cant see myself buying this one any time soon.

I hope your are right, but in my experience it takes more than a jersey to win games......Maybe i am wrong....but I doubt it.....

I give a sh1t because there's something good to be said for maintaining some tradition with the jersey. The Roosters are one of the few clubs that haven't messed with their jerseys excessively over the years and for me that is a sign of good faith to the supporters because a naked money grab due to jersey changes wasn't required to be current. You don't see the AFL messing with their jerseys and there's good reason for that being the case.

So do I, traditions are what people value not monetary rubbish, by shoving this
piece of crap at us they have thrown away what makes people proud, our
traditional jersey, we are not a crap team with crap supporters & do not
deserve to have that piece of crap representing us on the field,

exactly. And especially so when you have the luxury of having red white and blue as your colours. Eventually they'll probably completely destroy the jumper, and end up looking as hideously nondescript as Penrith, The Warriors or Newcastle
