  • NYC hooker Grant Garvey facing 10 weeks on the sideline for dangerous throw

anyone at the game see this tackle, must of been pretty bad for him to be basically missing half a season.

he can get a 8 match suspension if he takes early plea

The manly player dropped his head right down into the tackle which made it look nasty when he landed. It looked like a strong hard tackle both running hard into it. The manly guy is fine, saw him walking out of the ground with his girlfriend. Don't know if its a first offence for this kid

Certainly not worth 10 weeks, fmd what a joke that is!! He wasn't the only one in the tackle, there were two others and the tackle just got awkward as a result. I have seen far far worse than what happened, just have to look at bull$cumdog$hit's reynolds and what he got away with in that dangerous tackle in origin last year. If reynolds gets nothing for that incident, then Garvey should get nothing!! For memory the excuse that reynolds got off with is that beau scott was involved in the tackle and that if it wasn't for scott's involvement, then the tackle may not have ended up so badly. Same thing applies for Garvey!

Also remember bull$cumdog$hit's former player inu a few years ago doing a spear tackle on greg inglar$e, which was as bad as it gets and he only got 3 or 4 weeks for that. So Garvey looking at 10 weeks is beyond a f**king joke!! If he was playing for $ouff$ or bull$cumdog$hit he wouldn't even have a case to answer for!

Apologies, I have mellowed a lot in the off season, will try harder in future. I will bring back the fire and brimstone, and add plenty of these ones ---> You will end up loving the taste of my sauce as a result!

Grant Garvey has today accepted an eight match ban after the U20s hooker was charged with a Grade 4 Dangerous Throw by the NYC Judiciary following an incident in the 34th minute of last Saturday's Pre-Season Trial victory over the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Thanks Big Fella. I honestly wrote this in a serious frame of mind but I now see the humour in it. Thanks for that
