Thurston's kicking game is going to cause us enormous problems in round 1, I hope Robbo has SKD/Toups and especially RTS focused and prepared for an absolute barrage of different style kicks from Thurston.

Pearce needs to be careful when defending against J.T, he jammed in a few times already in the allstars match which left a big hole in the defensive line, if he does this in round 1, Thurston will put Cooper/Linnett over for a few tries.

I can't wait to see how our backline will function with RTS at fullback and Fergo at right centre, RTS sweeping around off Pearce/Maloney is going to be deadly.

if Pearce/JWH's fitness is any indication of the condition across the board of our squad we are going to be miles ahead of where we left off in 2014.

if the allstars match is any indication of how the game is going to be officiated in 2015, we are going to break the record for number of penalties conceded in a year.

and there was a perfect example of Thurston finding out Pearce in defense, I hope Robbo is paying attention.

I partially agree, there are teams that do exactly the same things as us but only give away half the penalties we do.

We would give away less penalties but get hammered anyway because they would be winning the ruck more or less uncontested

That is the draw back of losing weight - just checked out the Cowboys squad and they have some big humans to choose from ,their backs are more than capable and Thurston can do anything on his Home ground.
Our boys had best be ready for an ambush, given the anti establishment sentiment they are feeding off from last years finals run.
