Bugger me dead that hit on Ingli$ by Parker was not even close to a penalty.

Its not nice, but I really hope someone knocks Ingli$'s block off this year. I will even settle for a season ending injury in the last minute of this game

Any team that played Brisbane was crucified.
Except us in the qualifying final in 2002 when Brisbane didn't get a penalty until the final minute of the game

Why wasn't that last Indigenous team's try given a try?

Best we keep a close eye on all decisions this season.

certainly wasn't one of JWH's best games, gave away too many penalties and didn't cause much damage with ball in hand, one positive though is his fitness levels.

Pearce tried hard to spark something but didn't have much help, certainly nothing that exciting about the much talked up Pearce/Foran combination.

New year, same shit refereeing....Foran gets hammered off the ball and its play on but for god's sake don't touch GI! I think the refs may have sensed there was only one team that gave a shit about the result and refereed accordingly

Apart from Greg Hartley I reckon the rot started with Harrigan.

That pathetic celebratory goanna thing he does after every try drives me nuts. Thank goodness Rabs wasn't calling the game. It was painful enough with Gus, Johns and Lewis.

I absolutely agree, Harrigan took referreing the two sides in the same game differently to a new art.

ROTFLMAO.. Bro', yah don't really rate him and say that he is totally Shiite with the most important facet of Fullback play of communication and organising the defense.

I thought you would be praying that he would be fit enough should the Vermin Scum play against us in a big game at the end of the year considering ya don't rate him.

no interest in this game for me same with the 9's anzac test and city country, i would cann them all. Our boys didnt look good tonight but that doesnt really mean much at all.

I was watching something else last night cause I have no interest in this game.
                          Good to hear no injuries.
Some of you are saying JWH was just average. Good to hear. He is saving himself for the real footy.

I was only interested in Pearce and JWH. Pearce was ordinary and JWH wasn't much better.

I saw a little bit of the game and it was pretty clear that the All Stars team were lacking an understanding of each other, especially in attack. The same can be said about the indigenous team; it was really only thurston and inglis who clicked as they are familiar with other. This is all understandable as I doubt much training went into this game, more time probably spent socialising and doing events with the fans.

As such, I don't think anyone can expect much more out of Pearce and JWH, especially as it was their first real hitout of the season.

In regards to this game, it's pretty obvious already that we're in for a long season with the refs. It's pretty much a guarantee that those tries similar to the all stars try will be disallowed as many times as it allowed throughout the season.
