  • who is the unlucky Roosters to get picked in the NRL all stars game

apparently the squads are announced today, with "Mr Handshake" picking the squad hopefully he doesn't pick too many of our players for this exhibition match.

It's only one game and I don't think they train very hard for it. The coaching staff will be well aware of where the players are at. This game is much less risky than the 9s.

I nominate Luke Keary and George Burgess instead.

Think be great for Pearce to be around 'rep' footy and rep footy players and coaches. Have some fun with his footy before settling in for 2015 business. JWH an interesting one. Think it's here nor there. Would like see him and Thaiday go head to head again.

He isn't. Born in Sydney, his mother is from the Pitcairn Islands and father is a Kiwi.

Damn it alright Fletch! They will now be scratched from the 9's squad I can't imagine our officials risking them when we have more important fixtures i.e trials mid Feb.

Most probably select Mitchell Cornish or Nathan Stapleton as Pearce's replacement. Marty might yet get a run as Jared's replacement.

Gman, agree its a shame Pearce won't play the 9's he was clearly our best player last year and looks extremely fit at the moment, it might have taken him a while but he finally looks to have found the balance between being a professional sportsman and enjoying life off the field.

I think you mean Tyler Cornish coming in for Pearce not Mitch who is obviously at Canberra.

You've never been to Inverell then. That gene pool is a swamp.
