Will be interested to see what role Guerra plays in the team - post SBW.

There is definitely an opportunity for someone in the forwards to take iniative , my opinion was Che played a controlled , purposeful role last year without forcing the ball.

In saying that I think given the long break for him this year , he will take awhile to hit his straps.

I reckon he is best suited to the lock role. Both Cordner and Aubo (unless he plays hooker till Friend gets back) are good whole runners and have top combinations with Pearcey. Guerra on the other hand seems to tighten up our middle when he plays and provides and attracts a few defenders with his tendency to spin into defenders in the middle. With RTS lurking around the back, the space provided by Guerra could be key to enhancing his potency.

In saying this, if we happen to land Merrin (who according to Rothfield is demanding 700k a year, so I don't want him) I'd start him on the right edge were SBW was as he'd still do an undoubtedly top role their as well.

I'm not sure Merrin is needed really, he's probably better then Aubbo and equal with Guerra/Cordner, but not 700k better. I'd rather we try to retain JWH and Tupou then buy anyone else.

I don't think we need Tupou beyond his contract Id rather keep SKD Nene and You could be pleasantly surprised with Stapleton.
