Planning for the long-term it sounds?

$200K extra from the raiders to put up with poor physical/tactical/team coaching, sitting in the bottom 8 with a bunch of alcoholics/chumps/players selected due to family ties, being injured 8 months a year as a result of shyte rehab and having to do everything on the field and when it's all done... your salary/career hit rock bottom because you're old, injured, out of touch with modern expectations with regard to skills/tactics and haven't had any success/rep duties in 5 seasons.

JWH figures he may get ~450k a season with us but in 2-3 years time with more experience/quality training with Robbo, better conditioning (and possibly another premiership under his belt) he'll be asking for $800k+ EASILY as one of the top 5 front rowers in the game. Smart choice mate!!!

Edit: From what I've heard, FPN has already been arrested in Canberra. No charges laid and no suggestion that he did anything wrong BUT... to me it shows you're with the wrong crowd if the cops feel they need to intervene. This time they mighta just been drunk and loud... but next time? I dunno... I feel Canberra's the kinda place where you're gonna get arrested if you get drunk and some wussy roid muncher starts asking for a chance to have a swing at an NRL player. IMO as soon as you pushed him older you'll find out he's some soft/spoiled kiddie of a public servant/pollie with an inflated ego... cops will be called and you'll get done with assault without question. IMO if I were a Raiders player I'd drink in large/closed places (e.g. Your mate's walled house in Yarralumla), have 1 or 2 beers at a small bar (where nobody knows you because they all watch Union/AFL) or not at all. Can guarantee there will be some sort of a run-in if you hit up Civic and get drunk with the boys.
