I rang the club ages ago to find out what day it was on and they told me it was on Sat 20th.So with this date in mind i got offered a bar job on the Sunday and said yes to it seeing the game was supposed to be on the Saturday from the information i got.I was really pissed off when they announced the game was on the Sunday,i wouldn't have taken the job knowing that but now i cant back out of it

What was even funnier was a Tigers mate of mine rang me up the other day to see whether i was going to game on the Saturday and i told him no because it was on the Sunday and he said he had a email from the Tigers stating the game was on the Saturday but he did say the email was sent before Christmas.

            Horrie,
blame Sydney F.C. They had that weekend booked in well in advance just in case they earnt the right to host a final, which they might.
A Sunday afternoon/evening game has an interesting feel about it. Can't wait.

The only thing I would give up a footie game for would be an AC/DC concert.

Well the Foundation cup fan day, for the kids was a great success.

but with only 3 first graders from the roosters and 5 other under 20 rooster players, it was not the best representation from the Roosters.

Cannot say much more for the tigers though, the only 2 first grade players i recognised was Robbie Farrah and Keith Galloway, so i guess it was poor form from both side not having more notable players attending.

Had a chat to sammy P today, asked him about the offseason so far....

and you know how some players just say "yeah it is all good and we will be ready for the season" basically paying lip service.

Sammy said that this is the best preseason the club has had in 6 years, but the tone in which it was said and his body language showed that he was speaking the truth and that this is the best pre season the club has had in 6 years and that there is alot of positivity and hard work by the coaching staff and the players.

Phil Graham is also excited to be at the roosters, even when i said to him that some raiders mates of mine were disapointed he left the Raiders, he said that he left to take up an opportunity and he is excited for the new season.

Even speaking to Nate it was the same with him, the club has a good vibe, the players are really looking forward to this season with a sense of purpose !

Also have to give MASSIVE kudos to Marty Kennedy, he was one of the first players there and the last to leave, he waited until the last child left the coaching clinic before he actually left. So a massive wrap to Marty K who will now be known as MISTER KENNEDY !!!!!
