You don't think brown paper bags are just for sandwiches do you?
Brown paper bags worked in the good old days when people could keep their mouth shut, and the money was used to dodge the taxman, not the salary cap.

Nowadays most footy clubs and players leak like a sieve. The players would be raiding said bag down the pub with their team mates and shouting Ian Schubert a beer bragging about where the money came from rather than scurrying away silently to put the bag in a safe place.

And whilst your suggestion is very flattering, I know of an even better better candidate to replace Mr Politis in terms of these day to day football club operational matters

His name is Steve Noyce. And the funny thing is, he's actually employed in that very role
Yes, Politis has been terrible at throwing money around

That way they might recoup a bit of that $$ and a bit of that cap space.

But of course, watching the purse strings has never been the Politis way

The Showponies are the one Club that is still generally pretty watertight, with a few exceptions. Loyal to the bone that mob.

Heard the CEO of Newcastle on Talking Sport this morning. They're interested in Willy and they can fit him under the cap
