Geez we have some big units in the squad.

Photo 17 scares me a bit...looks like Maubs scooting from dummy half.

In retrospect I think JWH did himself an injustice last year by letting himself go after the world cup. It seemed to take forever for him to find his feet and fitness. And much can be said for the Roosters in my opinion; sixteen representatives at the world cup may have taken its toll early in the season with some ordinary results; 3 and 4 after 7 rounds. I’m not saying they let themselves go but an interrupted pre season isn’t ideal.

In saying that, heading in to the finals we seem to have peaked with six straight wins and the minor premiership was the icing on the cake. Only for us to concede 81 points in three finals games with two losses in what I can only describe as a disastrous finals campaign and I'll never watch any of those games again. Even the win against the Cowboys wasn't pretty.

I think we've been very lucky with injuries the past two seasons (even Friend was back eventually last year so really no excuses). I like who we have picked up so far for next season (McIlwrick, Papalii, Setu and Kennedy (if he takes his angry pills and doesn't give away too many penalties), they may not be his fault but let's see how things pan out.

SBW and Mini will both be missed for various reasons but I for one think RTS will be a champion in the fullback position. Time will tell but the roster at present is a very good one and should challenge for the title in 2015. I think Robinson will have us on song at the right time.

True, by the time we made the finals our front row was stuffed, sure missed the LOD or similar....

Robbo learnt a good lesson no doubt he will step up on this one
