Because even he knows the only Burgess worth chasing has left and the dreggs are what's left behind.

I actually think he will go at the end of next season.

Hope I am wrong but the money that will be offered to him (incl Rugger) will be too much.

Also, he is something of a liability when it comes to discipline.

        Feel sorry for him?

The man is the biggest a$$hole in the game - just shading his puppet master Fulton.

Not anymore that's for sure!! I felt sorry for him cause you can really see the strain of lack of success getting to him. Also cause of the issues he has going on with his daughter.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

          Here's looking at you, kid.

jwh always held a candle to play rugby for the all blacks as does rts, its a kiwi thing! he doesn't want to play the prop role at easts doesn't think of himself as the battering ram wants to plat wider run more and offload more? if that's how his planning is going expect a massive last year from jwh now playing again with his good mate marty!

I hope you are wrong as well. I really rate JWH, he is a hugely important part of our forward pack!! If he gets back to his 2013 form for us in 2015, which I fully believe he will, it will go a long way towards getting us into the top 4 and winning the premiership! He is 25 and most props are at their best in their late 20's, sometimes even early 30's these days. I would love to see us sign him up for another 3 years. Definitely we will need him to take less than what he can get elsewhere, hopefully he will show loyalty to the club.

He would be crazy to want to move from Bondi to Canberra to play under Sticky!! Not worth the extra money!!

He can always play rugby for NZ once he turns 30, he has time on his side to sign another 3 year contract with us, then go to rugby in 2019 for their world cup.

Don't forget interchanges will probably be reduced which will make him less effective. I will be sad to see him go but I think it will happen.

Spoke to JWH at a function a couple of years ago and he said he really missed rugby.

I work with someone from the same town in NZ and he reckons its a big chance at some stage.

Wouldn't be surprised if he went back.

At the end of the day if the Roosters want to keep him they will. There is more than 1 way to skin a cat.

2 waterfront apartments in the Eastern Suburbs when he retires after playing out his career with the Roosters or going off & playing for the All Blacks for 4 years for say 2 million, you work it out.

Goneski it is if the Roosters don't want him for what he is not worth.

It will be Union not another NRL club if he does boot.

lol at the lurker for suggesting the Raiders are paying FPN $600k a season and will offer JWH $1 million a season, not even the Raiders would be offering that kind of money.

if the Bulldogs were going to pay Fafita $850k, I could see the Raiders going to maybe $800k for JWH which obviously we wouldn't be able to match.

Don't be so sure on that.
