I don't wish to be a pedant but I suspect you don't quite grasp the concept of irony.

He wont be going to the Tigers, but I have a hunch that he has been spoken to by Penrith for 2016, and for the money on offer, I suggest we wont be keeping him.

If Willis Meehan turns out to be a beast then JWH can go if need be.

I've heard this rumour and if true? Panthers will have to shell a few to cover him at that money... Problem is Panthers have spent too much on too many players that could win a comp in recent times!

If Easts are successful in 2015 players will be prepared to play for less to be to be just that.. Its a business at the end of the day!

SYDNEY ROOSTERS enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has slammed rumours linking him to Penrith, insisting he wants to extend his contract with the premiers.

Whispers have been circulating the 25-year-old has sought a release from the final year of his Roosters contract to join the resurgent Panthers, but the New Zealand 2013 World Cup prop is adamant he is going nowhere.

“I’ve got no idea where it came from . . . you can’t stop rumours, I guess. People talk,” Waerea-Hargreaves tells RLW.

“I’m happy here at the Roosters, I’ve loved my time here and I’ve still got another year on my contract . . . I’m not looking to go anytime soon.

“I’ve got to talk to Nick Politis and ‘Robbo’ (coach Trent Robinson), it’s a great club and hopefully I’m here long-term.”

Waerea-Hargreaves’ manager Steve Gillis reiterates the Kiwi hardman’s stance, saying there is “absolutely no foundation” to the rumour.

“He loves the Roosters, they love him and that is the end of the story,” Gillis says.

All those denials only makes its more possible, obviously he wont want it known this far out from signing, time will tell, but I wouldn't bet my house on him staying.

                          So he can't win.

If he'd said he wanted to test his value on the open market, that'd be one thing - but to say he loves the club, the club loves him and he doesn't want to go anywhere - that makes it more possible he'll be leaving?

Not in my world. He's always struck me as a straight shooter.

He's a front row forward, he's too thick to be conniving.

yep I can see the amount of money they have spent there.NOT. the riff is doing what we have done , and have learnt how to develop their jnr ranked players and how to retain them. if the memory serves me right haven't the riff made the gf with their nsw cup and 20s teams in 2013 and their 20s in the gf 2014. that's a good sign of things to come from the riff.
