  • 2015 gains and losses

2015 Gains: Martin Kennedy (Brisbane Broncos, 2016), Abraham Papalii (New Zealand Warriors, 2016), Lagi Setu (Canberra Raiders, 2015), Matt Srama (Gold Coast Titans, 2015), Nathan Stapleton (Mid Season: Cronulla Sharks,2015)

2015 Losses: Remi Casty (Catalan Dragons), Saulala Houma (Cronulla Sharks), Kurt Kara (NSW Cup), Heath L'Estrange (St George Illawarra Dragons), Rhyse Martin (QLD Cup), Anthony Minichiello (retired), Tautau Moga (North Queensland Cowboys), Daniel Mortimer (Gold Coast Titans), Curtis Naughton (Hull FC), Sonny Bill Williams (Rugby union)

With a major player yet to sign and atleast 1 yet to leave Easts are in pretty good shape, with good depth in all positions. Robbo learnt a lot from 2014 and there's nothing more refreshing than new talent to motivate the current team..

If it's Taumalolo for FPN, I'll dance a jig.

I'd say it's closer to Fergo coming and FPN leaving, for this year at least.

I think the Roosters will sign DCE or Hayne possibly both for 2015 & JT plus Merrin for 20016 or 2017 & Samisoni Langi will sign with the Napal Donkeys after his contract with the Storm.

You skirted close to abuse of sarcasm Mick, without going over the line. Well done.

How long is Napa tied up for?

Rumours up here are that the Coast see him as a top priority.

I reckon we are still one big name away from giving the comp a big shake next season. Fergo will do, if the NRL decides to register his contract.
Next season will be a big chance for another trophy. Melbourne and Manly are no longer the forces they once were. The dogs were showed up to be overrated and i doubt that the refs can do enough covering up for souffs to win it again this year. The Broncos for mine will be our biggest threat.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Not sure how they fit it under the cap but Sharks look to be the biggest threat!

Not with their halves pairing of Robson & Barba.

With the options of Barba, Bird, Brown, Graham, Holmes, Stanley, Lewis, and Robson Its only my opinion that the Sharks have not yet settled on the halves pairing yet. Even then depth is abundant.

unless they play gallen in the front row they lack depth in that department.
