With memberships as cheap as $30 or so I am surprised and disappointed that everyone on here is not a member.

As some have said, it's about giving something back to the club that means so much to us - not what you get in return.

I also never get the people who make a big deal out of not renewing because we have signed someone or for some other reason (like some issue with marketing staff). We were there before the players and most of the staff and we will be there long after them. A person passing through (no matter who it is) should have no bearing on your loyalty to the club.

True true true....It's not about not liking what trinket you get in return but it's about saying you support the club.

My only beef would be how much they do in return to promote the club off field where I think the club is losing ground. We had SBW, a great draw card to the game and I feel that after the premiership, the club didn't use him enough to promote and just lost ground to the scum.

I wrote an email to the club a few months ago with a simple question, received a reply from them saying they would pass it on and since then, they have forgotten me so that's something I don't get.

So if they don't treat their fans with enough respect, then that's something which gets me on the wrong side.

it seems the concept of membership is very different at the roosters than it is at any other club? would someone in the know please explain the closed shop easts football club membership again? notice those words don't seem to be used rather than season ticket holder?
