Watching behind the goalposts it was Pearce who was doing all the talking to the team after Souths were scoring tries. I think Jake is a bit too quiet.

This is a hard question.

On his day Jake Friend is already best hooker in the world.
It won't be long until this is always the case.
I love how tough he is, I love how hard he works at getting better and developing different aspects of his game.
I am so proud to have Jake in our team.
Jake is a very quiet gentleman. Will he be able to rally the troops when we are standing behind the sticks down by 12 and two or three louder members of the team are at each other.

Cordiner is a long way away from leading men on or off the park.

Therefore Pearce should be the first picked.
However whilst he has been playing fantastic of late he spent much of the season struggling to hold his form. Perhaps he needs to concern himself with playing to his potential week in week out before the extra duties are thrown his way. He is also a nightmare on the drink.
Don't get me wrong, id love nothing more for him to be captain, play every week as he has over the last six weeks and never to hear a word whispered about what he does socially.

It's time to grow up young man, and repay the faith our club has shown you. Your time Pearcey has come.

If we could go back to playing league and dump the interchange rule, Moa would be a standout.

Some interesting points.
I feel sorry for whoever gets the job as they will get NO respect from the ref's. Look at the way they treated Mini .... a player and man that rugby league fans every where had respect for.
