Gerrard Sutton caught... cheating?

its more the fact that he was in the process of asking for video ref to check the contact but changed his mind when SBW got to his feet, its a worrying trend the refs have gotten into for high shots its purely dependent on the player staying down or getting up.
In saying that they were very proactive when a Souths player was getting tackled high and blowing their whistle

The joke that is the NRL.
Dress ups?
Time clubs and players grew up and stopped acting like children.
"Mad Monday" at our Club should be banned...just another recipe for disaster.
Well our players could get drunk and cavort with topless women in full view of the public...or in private, either way the public would find out and our Club and its players be held up to ridicule for disrespecting women, and the fans.

NRL investigates Sharks' Mad Monday
The NRL has launched an investigation into Cronulla's Mad Monday celebrations with topless waitresses amid concerns its players have damaged the game's image.
The NRL has written to the club seeking a report on the day including what steps the Sharks took to protect the code's reputation.
It comes only a week after NRL officials contacted every NRL chief executive to remind them of their "obligations" during Mad Monday.
Each club also received a written reminder that they were not to bring the game into disrepute.

That's not cheating, it's just a glimpse into the sad state of the game.
I'd say it's more Channel 9 producers playing their part too... Had it been the other way they would have instantly rolled the replay.
Burgess will be lucky to escape a charge on that one imo (although we all know he will).Last edited by Waerea-Beast!; 09-27-2014, 10:36 AM.
