I thought he knocked on. Hit his forearm and goes forward then he rolls over it and grounds it. Video ref disagrees with me and haven't heard anyone else mention it. Am I completely wrong?

I miss the days when a try was only a try if the ball was only grounded with HANDS. These days any body part can touch the ball and the video ref can call it a try.Comment

He knocked on and didn't even ground the ball. I am pretty certain the rule states the ball must be grounded by downward pressure of the hands, arms and torso. He grounded it with his hip which is no where near the torso and that was the only time he forced it over the goal line....Comment

No. He eventually grounded it after his torso/hip. He sat up and forced the ball while grabbing it. I think it was a fair try.
