What purpose has he served well? Did he teach them French cooking or something? He is really bad, softer than my mothers blancmange. We would have been much better playing Kane than this soft as butter slug.Originally posted by Pass the Ball View PostI have never been a fan of Remi Casty, but he has served his purpose well.
Without injury or suspensions I'm sure he will not play again this year.
Well done Frenchy......

Yes, I believe he has brought some French cuisine to the table...Originally posted by Cockadoodledoo View PostWhat purpose has he served well? Did he teach them French cooking or something? He also has the experience that Robbo obviously trusted, over the young guns Evans/Meehan coming through.
Napa is back next week.

Hi friends,
I believe that Remy "Martin" Casty tries his heart out but perhaps he is just a little too small for playing in the NRL. If you compare him to some of the younger players coming through at our club such as Kane Evans, Dylan Napa and Willis Meehan they are very big kids. Players that have found success from England such as James Graham and the Burgess Brothers are also very big.
It might just be that Remy Casty needs to have a full season under his belt as injury has kept him down this season but it is my opinion that the NRL is very much a power game in the forwards and perhaps he just has not adapted to this just yet.

For about 15 minutes tonight when the Cows ran in 4 tries and he was not sighted again.Originally posted by Pass the Ball View PostYes, I believe he has brought some French cuisine to the table...

What you see from Casty is as good as it is going to get. The ESL is a pretty ordinary comp, you only have to see rejects go over there and win man of steel. He isn't suddenly going to grow 3 inches and 10 kilo's in the offseason. The best thing for all concerned is to let him go back and play in his third rate competition.Originally posted by Braith Anasta's Wallet View PostHi friends,

I'll concede he was completely useless last night. Thought he actually had a pretty solid game last week to be honest, but he was just so soft last night. But you also have to think they were all out on their feet in the middle third of that game and I really don't know if Kane Evans could've kept up that pace at all. Once he's tired he really is slow and sloppy in defence. But granted he at least would've carted it forward with some balls.
