  • Losers; The best thing that could have happened!

After watching the first half it was obvious that for Easts to go back to back they would have to do more than be the better team, A week off would have presented false hopes and the powers to be would have reamed us when least expected and when it counted... Easts will regroup knowing its us against everyone from here on in..

    Back to back babe!

better to have lost this week then to save it for a fortnight or the gf...our backs are against the wall now so its either click or pack your bags..maybe this was good for us, man id LOVE to face the riff in the GF, i think we would do a number on them in a rematch, we were in second gear tonight.

I dunno. We probably needed a reality check but as I've said losing means we face Cowboys then Souths. Down here we will have a better go than last time vs Cowboys where we were slaughtered. We can beat them for sure but would rather have avoided them

        It depends on two things:
        1. Playing the cowboys is going to be very hard. Can we deal with Thurston and co.? Going to be very difficult.
        2. Can the boys back up emotionally after getting their pants pulled down tonight?

        Time will tell

Let's not dress mutton up as lamb. We needed the win, the week off and the one game to play for a GF appearance. It was a f£€k up of monumental proportions. Now we have to play the two informed teams in the series who have smashed their first opponents and have massive forward packs. We could of had the week off and only needed to put in one good performance against either the Storm or dogs to make the GF. Please don't piss down our backs and tell us it's raining.

robbo will have them firing for next Friday, however greene of course know most of our secrets? but its also personal for robbo he doesn't want his ex 2ic to beat him? jt will be captain invincible and try to do it all himself so that should be fun knocking him off his pedestal?

Nah, can't agree. Had the week off last year and smashed Newcastle. This loss makes it so much more difficult. The cowboys are going to be tough. They have a good record against us. Souths will be even tougher.

I actually think if we get to the Souths game we will beat them...but beating the Cowboys next week is a bigger worry

Biggest positive to me is getting Guerra and Napa back earlier due to that one extra game (that is if we actually win lol)

                              Exactly.

I don't believe we'd have beaten the Storm on the back of that performance.

The 6 game winning streak is over and now it's time to reload.

Our best is still the NRLs best.

But ****... the refereeing... the Casty no try. The Maloney shepherd call (the first of its kind this year). 28 minutes for a pen.

                              They remain our biggest threat.
