  • Roosters vs Panther match discussion

Jimmy Smith pretty much just confirmed FPN was playing tonight by saying Vincent Leuluai was going to be 18th man

weather looks to have cleared and shouldn't be an issue tonight, field is holding up ok but a little chopped up with so many games in the last 24hrs.

very ordinary start in NYC conceding a very soft try, Warriors leading 6-0 after 4 minutes.

rooster reply in NYC with a try to Jake Lewis 6-6 after 9 minutes.

not a fan of MacDonald at number 6, he tries to pass/organise too much, he is the most damaging runner in the NYC comp, needs to take the line on more.

I might get shot down for saying this but the limited times that I have watched the 20's I just cant see the Taane Milne hype.
I have heard so many wraps but always come away unimpressed..
      See how he goes today

another two warriors tries they lead 16-6 KTC, they are killing us through the middle early, if we don't muscle up soon we are heading out the back door.

Geez I find it hard to watch the 20s.

I'm not even sure you can define it as Rugby League.

I reckon they should just call it Touch League.

I know they're 18-19ish, but is that really enough of an excuse to be flat out awful at defending when you're still an elite athlete?

shooting ourselves in the foot with Cornish not finding touch from a penalty, Warriors 28-10 after 34 minutes.

Mitchell Mammary is a deadest clone for a young Mark O'Meley.

Jakiel Mariner gets a try in the 39th minute to give us some hope heading into halftime, there needs to be a massive improvement after the break to have any chance.

                  Warriors 28-14 at halftime.

been a bit disappointed with Nene in the first half, has been very lazy just standing and passing most of the time, he has shown in first grade he is a much better player than he is showing today.

Yeah, as I think someone up-thread said, he does need to back hisself.

I quite rate Cornish. When he puts 10-12 on in chest and legs he'll do heaps of damage. I'm putting it out there - future Origin 5/8.

                          Wow.

                          Shaquille Mariner.

                          Unreal.

I hope Nene MacDonald is carrying some kind of injury today, he has been so lazy today.

seems a few of our NYC boys have shoulder charges in their game much like Napa.

pretty much game over now Warriors up 38-18

disappointing to see our NYC boys get knocked out, but has been a reasonable year with 4 players making their NRL debuts in Meehan/MacDonald/Elliot/Hastings.

on to first grade, just need to get the job done tonight.
