Love the pre-match interview. Got to say that Freddy is the humblest bloke. Asked Mini how it felt to potentially becoming the most successful or important Rooster of the modern era. We all know what Freddy did for our club. I love 'em both!

Surely this would make him one of, or maybe the, greatest Rooster ever???
I hope Newman is enjoying the ride.

My updated signature just says it all. With due respect to the other greats that I witnessed Freddy and Horrie. I was too young to remember Artie. Mini is in rare company he has got to be one of the top 4 post WW2 Roosters.Originally posted by boogie

I'd have to think long and hard to find any argument close to challenging your thinking. We are lucky to have seen such greats play for this club.

Mini at his peak was a joy to watch, bouncing off players at a hundred miles an hour, but I can't help thinking he's current purple patch is a more team based benefit. Whereas Freddie at this height of his powers was simply sublime. That second half in the 2000 prelim final will live with me forever.
Chook.
