I think a few here are a bit harsh on Toups. Robbo said in the presser that he felt there was a call of "Toups" and that should have been a penalty.

For those that don't do it, I urge you to listen to the press conferences - you learn so much and you get to appreciate the wit, diplomacy and intelligence of Robbo. I am so proud our team plays football and doesn't dive like so many other teams.

Toups said he did get a call from Luke to pass.. We will be better next week.

It was definitely the most interesting and insightful press conference I'd heard from Robbo. He speaks in calm measured tones regardless of what the result has been. See, this is the difference between someone who studies sports science and uses his brains as opposed to someone who expresses himself by punching walls and throwing chairs.

Our blokes were running on empty after a 5 day turnaround in wet and draining conditions.

They did not even look like scoring until Double Steamers brain snap.

Guerra and Napa are replaced by Maubs, Evans and maybe Stranger / Hastings combo off the bench, Young SOH did not look out of place in 1st grade

Running on empty for what ever the reason wont get us a title. In the last 20 minutes Souths were running just as hard and fast as they did at the start. We need to stop giving away big leads, we did it against the Sharks and two or three other teams during the year. We had Souths measure right through the game but un did all that good work by allowing them back in. Albeit we did score 12 points during the 10 minute sin bin which gave us an advantage. I don't want to be meeting them next week with a depleted bench, give me Penriff or Storm.
