  • Andrew Voss on Adrian Morley

    Interesting news:

"5) What's former Rooster Adrian Morley up to?

    Plenty it would seem.

Adrian is far and away the oldest player still playing at the top level, and he has just signed on for 2015… but what about the twist?

At Salford in the Super League Morley, who will turn 38 next May, has been appointed general manager of the club to coincide with his playing duties next year."

He'd still be harder than 99% of the powder puffs in the NRL. Moz never needed anything other than a cup of Tetley's to play hard...no Roid's in his blood.
    SUPER DRAGON!

        Moz is a legend.

I love that man. I'd love to see him back one day in some sort of coaching capacity.

To think that some thought that the great Morley was a dud initially. Shame, shame, shame!

Amen to that - the two of us seem to find favour with our overseas imports.

Moz is still one of only two players to sign my beloved winter jersey - he and Diamond Phillips. The ink may be faint nowdays (the signatures are 2002 vintage) but I still know they're there.

Wearing that jersey tonight in the knowledge that the present Vermin pommie imports are far inferior to our Moz - in looks, sex appeal and talent IMO!

OK so I may be just a bit biased.

Don't be a goose. I have admiration for the way he is a kind, friendly gentleman off the field but a truly tough hard man on it. He knows how to separate the 2.
