One of the all time best calls maaaaaaaaaaaaaaate.

Deurex for PearceOrf recently is deserving of special mention too.

That Luke Towers kid for Mini was a classic also.

    The FlogPen .

    You know it makes sense.

        Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

Golden, I'd forgotten about that one hit wonder.

Ryan Williamson was gonna be head cheerleader, ball boy, captain, coach, CEO and PM. All from a PooTube vid.

If Robbo thought Kara was ready for NRL I doubt he would have signed Stranger half way through the season.
I thought Stranger did well with the opportunities he had this year. Feel sorry for the bloke.
I think Friendy will be back next week but if he is not ready I doubt Robbo will look beyond Maubs at dummy half. I can't see Horry Jnr getting a gig this year especially against Warriors/Storm/Souths.

I raise you a Jordan Pansey.

A couple from other clubs I recall are Karl Filiga, a pRicky call maybe, and that Seppo Greg Smiff, he was a hoax playing for Poocastle.

At the risk of changing the thread topic, here is another gem:

                    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Bott

$350k a year, back then as well, thank god that fell through. That makes SBW seem like a giveaway.

That is what I call Bott average, lol.

Remember Luke Goodwin??? The older sibling, I recall his debut at The Boggs he had a blinder and could never reproduce that fluke effort. The media had him as the next Churchill. He ended up a SuperMegaResherveGrader.

I guess these things happen more now with the U 20s and the profile in that comp, also with the advent of the Internet.

I like it when reserve or NYC guys get a go.

The only alternative is to keep buying established players from other clubs which isn't sustainable.

Pretty sure Toups, RTS, Maubs, Jake, Napa, Evans, Liu, SKD, Mini snd Pearce all made their first grade debuts with us from....somewhere...and didnt just magically appear.

What about Danial Mortimer? ohhh no we let him go halfway through the season DER. Great vision putting players interests before the team.
