    Two great posts IMO.

The top 4 has changed often this season so when would you judge that criteria???

A big win next week will convince me they are back ready to defend the title. Warriors will be stinging after that Knights defeat.
Beat the Warriors over there will fire a shot across the bow of the top 2 teams.

I think we will do Melbourne easily the following week. So the Warriors game is very important to possibly set up a showdown for second place (or even minor premiers again) with Souffs.

I hope you're right mate, but if the 'big 3' have blinders against us it will be a very tough ask. When they play to their potential together no one comes close to them, not even souffs or manly.

But there is no reason we can't beat them or win the other two matches so we're defs a chance

Souths remind me of Muriel, from Muriel's Wedding..parading around in wedding dresses before one has received any engagement rings or proposals..

See my new autosig which I stole from the Wentworth Courier's Peter Orinuela..

I'm now quietly and peacefully optimistic again after the stitch up and heartbreak of the Knights game..and I've finally dried out and stopped shivering after going out to Allianz in the rain on Monday night..I'm so pleased and proud I made that trip..

The Roosters this season remind me of the Broncos in 93...I hope it ends the same way for us this year as it did for them in 93.

Good to have you back rwb
I've missed your sensible input and totally agree.

Also agree that this year has been roller coaster with varying outlooks. At this point I am probably at my most confident of the season, considering the injuries (and pastings from refs).

Hang in there sweetheart…..bumpy ride ahead.

Whats got me happy is not that we put heaps of points on them its how they played.
There was a lot of variety, the kicks were mixed up, the play was intelligent. This hasn't happened all year.
Thats whats got me thinking a switch has been flicked.

We are in the top 4 at the moment without the usual intensity that accompanies this.
Who knows, but the next 3 games are important.

I also think that Manly are not going at 100% at the moment, while $ouff$ are. Be interesting to see who is there at the end.

Whilst we played well, we have to remember the Tigers were woeful last night. They're defence in the middle of the park was embarrassing and not many teams in the NRL would have allowed a few of the tries we posted last night. Especially the ones that Mini scored as cracking a defence as easily as SKD and Guerra did is pretty rare.

In saying that we moved very well in D and looked confident with the ball in hand, despite the weather, which will leave us in good stead for the Warriors. A strong defensive display this week is crucial to the two points. Hopefully Friendy is back to ensure our go forward is sharp through the middle and our ruck defence is on song, which is very important due to the skill and footwork of the Warriors forwards.

The couple of wet weather performances could be an ace card should we play finals in the wet.
