    There have been a succession of NRL CEOs that have next to no idea how to run the game either through incompetence or adherence, like shit on a toilet bowel, to news limited.
    It's a rabid anti-Easts, Communo-Zionist-Murdochian-Martian-Masonic-Satanist cabal who run our great game.

    Picture a long rectangular table in a stuffy, stone room with dark wall-hangings. Greenberg, Smith, Gerry Harvey, Dr Frankenstein, Hitler's-head-in-a-jar, Wayne Pearce and Jamie-Lee Curtis sit around the table, looks of smug satisfaction mixed with nervous apprehension adorning their weasely mugs.

    A chubby man in a red and green tie enters the room. They all avert their eyes - except Hitler's head-in-a-jar who is physiologically incapable of doing so - who exclaims nervously, "HERR RICHO! ZE PLAN IST COMING TO FRUITION".

    Etc

        Daley called us very early. And he was the only one.

              In 20 years, if not before, be no aussies playing the game anyway, will be all islanders, so don't lose too much sleep over merging. Junior football is getting less and less aussie kids signing up every season, sooner or later those kids grow up to be adult players.

                          The old Wall was relentless until the PR spin doctors got hold of it and sanitized it before finally taking it out the back to be shot and buried in a shallow trench!... And this is the closest living relative the Wall still has!!

                          This place has a right to be relentless! Everyone here is a Rooster diehard and has a right to be heard, to rant, to vent and to postulate theories, if they wish! Or at least they should have...

                          More philosophically speaking, I also think relentlessness in demanding success, is essential to the survival of our club in the longer term... The sharks (the metaphorical ones) are circling out there... Who wrote the report on the "NRL player draft", you guessed it, our arch enemy next door... Fat Richo!

                          Look at the way the Rugby League world is turning under the Dave Smith agenda:

                          1. Junior player draft to advantage all clubs except for us;
                          2. Moves so the NRL controls the majority of all club boards including an NRL appointed chairman;
                          3. If you don't abide by NRL rules, your funding from Head Office is cut off;
                          4. Junior football to be centrally funded, meaning clubs no longer control their "areas" in junior league; and
                          5. The NRL to have day-to-day access and control over all club finances, sponsorships, records etc.

                          This is a move towards turning the NRL from an organisation OWNED BY its members, to an organisation that OWNS its members. Dave Smith's ultimate dream is to turn the NRL in to an organisation of centrally owned and controlled franchises. To be moved anywhere in Australia and beyond, that they see fit.

                          In my view, one of the clubs right in the middle of the firing line at Moore Park, is Easts... We are in their sights for relocation, merger or abolition...

                          Thus, we need to take every available step, no matter how ruthless, to ensure our survival... And if this means being relentless in terms of success on the field and in the coaching box, then so be it... In my opinion (and my opinion only), Easts fans, sponsors and directors MUST be relentless in ensuring the on-going success of this club, day to day, week to week and year to year.

                          Nothing is more important than the survival of the ESDRLFC!
                          hEdge man you too make some valid points.

                          I agree we need to stay relentless when it comes to ensuring our survival as Easts. But I'm of the belief UncleNick has that in hand. It would take a very brave individual to try and destroy what he's helped build. Ruprects merry men failed, in fact it only fired us up to new levels.

                          The point of the relentlessness in my thread was more the way many of our fans have death ridden us all year without actually looking at the obvious valid reasons as to why our seasons unfolded as it has.

                          I agree fans can do and say it however they please. None of us support better than others.

                          I am often critical of the relentlessness. Then I look at LU and realise we aren't that bad afterall. That place is pure deJaPoo, relentless is too soft a word for the level of madness that dwells there.

                          I then praise $BW, sink a can and bust a number.

                          Easts to Win.
