I've seen some asinine things in my time at the Roosters. I mean I thought having that Roid monkey Hulk Hogan involved with the Roosters was the stupidest thing I'd seen (one would think with the accusations against the Roosters back in the 90s that they'd stay the hell away from anything to do with steroids) but this jersey thing is so frigging stupid, it defies believe.

I saw a kid in Bondi Junction wearing one today, his parents forked out 160 odd dollars for a one off bullshit promotion for a bunch of characters who aren't even staring in films this year.

I love the Marvel Comics and the Marvel movies. I also thought our Captain America jersey looked the best of the lot so I bought one. I'm happy.

People who complain about commercialism also must be happy to see likes of SBW, Falou, Hunt etc going to other codes. They are also same who complain about origin but extra $$$ stats earn through origin again help keep likes of JT, Smith, Slater in our code..

its not like we are changing our jerseys forever.... Back then they didnt have promotions etc... infact didnt people get pissed over Roosters wearing city ford on the jersey? times change this is a business.

the more the NRL do things like this the more money they can make.... the more money the NRL make the better it is for the clubs... that way your childrens children can watch the roosters play
