  • is our biggest rival for the comp about to implode

some strong rumours doing the rounds tonight that Brett Stewart will sign for the Dogs in the next 48hrs.

with any luck this turns out to be true and the Sea Eagles team starts to implode as more players will want to leave a sinking ship.

if the dominos start to fall there is a scenario that the Sea Eagles could lose their top 6 players by the end of 2015

and in the process it would suck a lot of free salary cap space up from other vultures and help us in our pursuit to keep the majority of last years premiership team together.

If anything this will only galvanise Manly as it's their last chance to win a Premiership together.

They're a great team who won't wilt this season.

I do look forward to signing Foran for 2016 onwards though and seeing Manly become perennial wooden spoon contenders.

Hope not but anything is possible in the NRL.

Agree, manly are consistently one of the toughest mental and physical teams to have played the game, don't think they have won a spoon in the 70 odd years they have been in the comp.

They will be here to play again in the finals.

Still don't think they have the forwards to win it though.

Their backs play like forwards when needed.

It has the potential to disrupt their campaign surely as the Manly players play for one another like no other team, but if they lose that...

                    Chook.

I agree with the others here who feel that manly won't implode. They're far too tough a team and one last hurrah together will glue them tighter.

We will need a new 5/8th soon as Maloney will eventually be the first half to retire out of our current halves combo. Pearce and Foran have been good mates for a while so it could be a possibility.
