I'm not, Easts are @ their best when defensive attitude loses the penalty count and Easts grind a team into the ground holding them to 0 and win.

As the former long-standing NRL media manager said to me in person when I rang up head office to give him a verbal barrage over officiating of a Roosters game back in about 2005...

"Look, it's no secret refereeing of Easts games has been a problem for the last four decades, I don't know the reason why that is, but there is no doubt there is an issue there..."

The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Quite a startling comment in a professional sporting competition.

It's ironic that Manly still feel they were duded in that game. It was about the only game last season where were refereed fairly.

They forget about the semi where we got penalised about 14-7 or something.....

The problem is now that the perception is so far gone that we are an undisciplined team, who deliberately gives away penalties to gain an advantage (wtf?), that it is almost impossible for games involving us to be refereed in a fair manner. Conversely, everyone we play miraculously improves discipline.

All we can generally hope for in the foreseeable future is that we can hold a penalty count to be lost by 3 or 4 penalties. If so, we will have done well. And although there are views that we shouldn't worry about the counts against us, my fear is that eventually it will wear the team down (if it hasn't already). Hopefully, if the refs are true to form they'll stick the whistles in their pocket closer to finals time.

Robbed? There were 3 bad calls in the game with 2 of them going our way and 1 to them.

If he wants to see highway robbery he should go watch the 2010 Grand Final, that match really should be investigated, so should Archer and Finch for the entire season.

Bingo! The first try to womanly was obstruction bull$hit!! And yes we were massively shafted in that 2010 GF, womanly have absolutely nothing to complain about in comparison!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                            Here's looking at you, kid.

And ftr, Maloney's pass to Mini WAS backwards. It just looked foreard because of body positioning.
