The ball is in his court. He is supposed to be finding somewhere else to go. At this stage it seems like nobody is interested.

All Mason's contract entitles him to is the money - it does not entitle him to a position in the first grade side or even participation in their activities. So long as he is paid, the contract is fulfilled.

If the Club decides that he should play for Newtown, then that's where he can play.

It's up to the Wanka as to whether he wants to do that and be paid, or move on with a minimal payout.

It's not as if it's the first player this has happened to. It happens on a yearly basis at many clubs.
