31 metres from 4 or 5 hit ups... 22 tackles but more often the 3rd man in or just cuddles the opposition to get his tackling stats up. He has always sh*tted me but I used to like him (as he always had a blockbuster performance every now and then) but this year he is really sh*tting me off. I think in future we should give him 1 year contracts as he is so destructive and busy on the field before a new agreement is struck.

C'mon Frank get angry and put in otherwise you can farrk right off!

Kane Evans was on the field for less than half the time FPN was on the field and he made 57 metres from 5 hit ups and made 12 tackles a lot of them with hurt and intent in them. Robbo takes Evans off when he was close to our best at that time...he never came back on??

Lol, don't blame me in your angered state mate.

I don't pick the side every week, the coach does.

      I also don't re-sign blokes.

I merely have tried to explain to the best of my knowledge why he keeps getting picked each week despite his stats saying he doesn't play a lot of minutes or make a lot of yards or runs.

It's called impact. Whether you, or I for that matter, agree with it the coach does.

I know Farian dislikes FPN too and seems to blame me also, but I have zero input at team selections. Honestly.

Just been giving an outsiders opinion as to why I believe he has been being picked for so many seasons by so many coachs.

Do you have a better explanation???

If so lay it out and we can discuss it I guess.

Lui and Napa are now preferred over FPN and Kane Evans was one of our best last night.

I can't see him being in our long term plans. He's off contract this year or next?

          Chook.

            Lol, all good Mun.

Remember I'm not defending him, Ive never been a FPN fan to be honest, I'm just trying to understand why he keeps getting chosen to play in our colours.

In fact maybe it's time we stick $BW at lock. The ball play on the fringe isn't working. Maybe it's time he went back to the old KISS. Hit ups, workrates, defence, anger. Fark even a shoulder charge would work.

We need some old fashioned drama. It's soft ATM.

Haha I wasn't blaming you mate.

              Just having a cheeky dig

And by the time of posting I was past the stage of anger... I was somewhere between hysterical laughter and acceptance

I watched Kane Evans last night and saw the spark of a monster (no WWF Pun intended) inside him. If we keep him, five years from now he'll be another Lazarus or Roach. One of those mean as cat's piss hard forwards that intimidate the hell out of the opposition.

I have a new man crush I think.

Would have been good to keep O'Donnell around for another year, imo.
That man set the benchmark in loony mongrel.
                  Love him to bits.

                    All good my friend.

Glad to see you recovered, that was some sorta effort last night, outstanding even.

We still have to watch a game together. Me, you, nOman and bOracle. I have a stiffy at the thought.

Can't argue with you Johnny, he didn't just belong out there, but he was a forward leader when he was out there. I liked the fact he dived on the loose ball once early in the second half when all the other Roosters were standing around like browns cows. Sure the Ref ruled knock-on (I thought it was a dubious call) but his efforts last night were the epitome of what SBW and the others used to harp-on about, the little one per-centers.

This and the fact we have let go of a valuable back up in Morts who would have been handy last night.
