  • Junior VaiVai

It was Junior VaiVai (ex Vermin player) that Newtown Jets signed to replace Moga in the centres.

He made his debut last weekend and scored one try and set up 2 others.

    Could be a handy pick-up

Newtown signed him before they knew Moga was being released. The two are unrelated. Moga is a Roosters player and the Roosters signed Nathan Stapleton to fill that hole in the NRL roster. Newtown signed VaiVai from his club in the Ron Massey Cup.

so sad Moga is gone, i feel like he never really got his chance to show how great he can be.... im going to be so depressed if he reaches superstar status at cowboys.

Would love to see him succeed, don't think he will though. Attitude is everything in the NRL these days and sadly he is lacking in this department in my opinion. Looked lazy in his return for Newtown next to never went looking for the ball. Even when he came into firsts, didn't exactly bust his arse trying to impress, especially some very lazy attempts in defence, turning and chasing ball etc. IMO I'm willing to trust in TR and say releasing him won't come back to bite us.

I remember seeing Junior VaiVai play with Penrith and they had huge hopes for him, i always liked him. He ended up playing NSW Cup the last two years. Great talent if he plays with a clear head

His treatment of women hardly makes him suitable for a return to the NRL. Sacked from two clubs, one as a result of a serious criminal conviction - fortunately he is not on the Roosters books.

is Moga starting today for the COws? Have found him extremely over rated and then unfortunate with injury, I hope he does well but not too well that he comes back to bite us.

Moga is right wing I think with Curtis Rona inside of him or maybe other way round.

He will make a big impact.....
