  • team vs the sharks

I guess with Jennings injured and Cordner/Guerra/Toups on origin duty, the team will look something like this for Saturday night.

    Mini
    RTS
    SKD
    Maubs
    MacDonald
    Maloney
    Pearce
    Moa
    Friend
    JWH
    SBW
    Napa
    FPN

    Liu
    Casty
    Meehan
    L'Estrange

    Evans 18th
    Langi 19th

given the disruption to the Sharks club at the moment it might have been the perfect opportunity to blood a youngster to give them a taste of FG football but I'm not sure if Robbo is ready to give any of the likes of Martin/Milne/Hastings/Taukeiaho a run yet.

I'd like to see Evans get another crack.

He must be quite disheartened atm to have been overtaken by a few players.

I dont think napa should start, at least not in the backrow. He doesn't offer enough go forward on the edges, as proven against the knights. Plus he is great defender in the middle.

In saying this, with maubs playing centre, I'm not sure if we have too many other options

There is no other option, certainly no one who's proven that they can hold their own there yet.

Napa may not have been brilliant in his short stints in the 2nd row but he hasn't let anyone down either. If all he gives us is strong defence (which he has in the past) then afaic it's a job well done. Judging an impact prop used to playing 30-40 minutes a game for his yardage on the fringes is absurd.

I f***ing loved that hit up by Napa from the kick off where he steamed onto the ball a million miles an hour and knocked out hasson into next week!! I know that fired me up at home so can only imagine how it can rub off onto the other boys. I want to see Napa hitting the ball up like that every time, nice and aggressive! By doing that he will be not only hurting the opposition, but giving himself the potential to get offloads away, which is certainly something I want to see more of from our team, and that is second phase play!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

          Here's looking at you, kid.

Might be match fitness as he only arrived on Friday so maybe late call up for Jets.

That team has no coach. Peter Sharp just walked out...

Yeah I think he only got off the plane late last week.

If we can't beat that team and with all the $hit going on with their club by 40+, it will be very very disappointing!! With the way the comp is this year, for and against will prove vital!
