Could we please dump Mini as soon as possible then.
I've never knocked him and I feel bad for doing it right now, but he doesn't have it against the
big teams.

Not doubting Mini hasn't the attacking skill of most other 1s these days mate, but it's interesting to note we still lead the attacking stats.

The swapping between RTS and Mini in attack has proven a success IMO.

What Mini offers by way of leadership, expierence and organisation of the defence has been utilised very well by the coach.

I think that's the point overlooked by Fitzy and Co who get starry eyed with faster attacking fullbacks whereas Mini brings a different package to the team which can't be bought.

Yeh not many players who can get dragged back in goals the way he does.

Whats most impressive is his attacking plays have more thrust than the first month or so this season...not getting ragdolled and is bending the line a bit more.

Even the comms mentioned the quality of both fullbacks tonight.

Re Jimbo let me be clear that I hope he plants the humblest of pies in my face and kills it for the rest of this year.

I'm merely offering my thoughts to give us our best chance of winning this comp. But I'm paid to write stuff for pollies and senior public servants not coach NRL teams...and there is probably good reason for that.

I don't overlook it mate, I have acknowledged several times from halfway through last year Mini has been very solid at the back.

My point is the great fullbacks in the game Inglis, Slater, Hayne and co are great defenders too and freakish attacking players, like Mini was before injury.

I think we have that luxury of having this type of fullback because of the weapons we have across the field other teams aren't that lucky.
