I don't know why everyone gets uptight about these games. Really its common sense Easts are the Champions, the effort is relative to the standard of opposition. Get the 2 points and get out injury free.
At the end of the season not many remember all the results or how you won just you won, who cares about the semantics.
This match is simply a means to an end.

Yea we cant always but once in a while would be nice. The only time this year was against the eels. Surely playing Knights without 2 of there best, its not too much for us to ask for a globetrotter win. I think any other team would've got us.

No i believe he says that we should all accept that victories sometimes come in this way and though it wasn't how we like to view our team, we got the points and we're still in a good position. I think I recall Maloney say after the grand final that if everything was easy, then it wouldn't mean as much wining it. If we didn't watch the games until the finals, we'd be bored having to watch AFL...

What I'm trying to say is origin time is a tough time to win games, people were posting here we should win by 30-50 and so on
and then blowing up when the boys don't bring their A game but still win.
And I'm sorry but if you wanna make the semis these games are a means to an end.
