Smart play...if you get hit high stay down, make them look at it, and get the penalty. [it could be the difference in winning or losing the match].
Hadley and co at the weekend say so.

            3 high tackles...3 stay downs...3 penalties... 6 points...game won possibly.

Should be like sokka, FFA have a rule where players can be suspended for 'simulation'. The NRL should implement it. There's nothing worse then a player laying down to milk a penalty.
If you get smacked in the chops and the ref misses it, get up, play the ball and get the **** back next set of six

We might be saving it as a surprise tactic in the finals.

What, do a high tackle on the ****?
                      ...and get penalised and suspended?

If you get smacked in the chops you deserve a penalty as payment from the NRL for your "pain and suffering".

Making the other team pay, and winning the game are more important than playing "tough guy".

Common sense says that a player who lies down to get a penalty for a high tackle should be made to leave the field for 15 minutes and do the concussion test. That might prompt a few players to get up quickly. Too bad the people running the game don't have much of a clue about football.

Apparently the player is supposed to be taken to the sideline and assessed for concussion.

Dogs could be in strife with the NRL for not removing Ennnis and Perrett from the field after they stayed down, supposedly knocked out/concussed.
