  • Interesting day

Quite an interesting day being a Roosters fan! Started last night discovering we have all but signed Fergo, and now the whole Pearce drama.
Hopefully tomorrow is a little more brighter in Bondi, beginning with the whole Jnr Jnr issue hopefully not being as major as it is being made out to be

Media drip feed selective comments to susceptible minds who come to their own conclusions and piratically write the story for them. This way the large media organisations can never get in trouble for defamation whilst keeping the public engaged with the latest info about nothing. Some of our fans certainly aren't helping here.

This will play out for some time I'm afraid regardless of whether there's actually anything behind it or not.

True, but as a fan I just wish they were focused on their football, rather than hard partying.

But I guess they're within their rights to get on the piss, large-style - as much as I don't like it.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

That's true but isn't it hypocritical, and I'm not referring to you R6, but the way we carry on? There are about 4 threads on this story and there are links, pasted articles, video footage, opinions about how bad the media are, how bad the players behaved, etc etc etc... Come on!!! We are behaving just as bad as the media so let stop kidding ourselves.

Yeh the media have played a lot of our fans very well.

Just saw their promo for the news tonight, absolutely embarrassing. They're not worried about what actually happened they want the public to assume guilt before any details have been released. They know from experience that this investigation will take a few days to wrap up and until then they've got the eyes of every interested on looker watching their news programme tonight.

I'll wait for the facts to be revealed before commenting.

Either way, Pearce should have learnt when and where he shouldn't be @ certain times? His past won't help his cause, I wouldn't mind if the Club cut him loose and chased DCE with the money Pearce is on..
