      This is a joke. Not funny. That rule makes a mockery of the "origin" concept which made these games so unique. Queensland are so blood-thirsty with the tribalism that they are diluting their own legacy by exploiting this dodgy rule. The player is NOT a Queenslander.

            So say Cameron Smith has a son.

            He is born in Sydney, raised in Sydney, played his first game of rugby league in Sydney, played his first rep game of league in Sydney, he could never set foot in Queensland, yet he still qualifies for them?

            Outrageous.

                      This throws out all of the other rules about where you first played footy. No breaking news for me but this game sure has some odd decisions. In the end nothing say he will be any good just because he's Lams kid.
