I love Easts first. Players come second.

    Even Maubs.

If the coach and club decide to sign a Funch or re-sign a FPN or move a Maubs on I accept that is what is best and put my energy into enjoying what's happening on the field.

Fark me I even accepted when my old man Smiffy was retired.

We have made 6 GFs in 14 seasons with massive roster changes and 6 different coaches. That IMO means our club is able to reinvent itself and ensure we are never out of the running for too long at a stretch.

Sure we do business differently to most. But 6 GFs in 14 seasons means we must be doing something right. Surely.

I always admire any guy that makes it to FG for the Roosters but your right, it's club first, players second.

They all come & go but the club rolls on.

    Go the MIGHTY ROOSTERS.

What a shame. I was hoping we may see him on the bench or something during Origin (assuming Jimmy and Jenko are chosen). He's probably not quite ready yet though anyway.
And BTW does anyone know if Heath L'Estrange has been playing for the jets yet?

Heath has played a few weeks for the Jets now. Mortimer out now for a few weeks did his hammy. He was hoping to line up for Jets this weekend.

Wow. I hope we get Morts back before SOO. Thanks for the news on Heath.

wow we could be a little light on if both Maloney/Pearce get picked for origin, hammy strains on backs can linger for 3-4 weeks just for a minor twinge.

sad to hear about Hastings, could see a Friend/SBW halfs combo during period around 1st origin.
