I prefer our regular ANZAC jersey as I'm a fan of tradition. Love the story that we used the pale blue because we couldn't get the navy dye during the war. Smacks of history!

However, if the demand is to change the jersey (usually the Marketing team chasing revenue) then this is respectful. I wouldn't buy it. It's a one off.

Very good and very nice...simple and classy.

Though, does the soldier disappear when the jersey is tucked into shorts? or aren't the jersey's long enough to tuck in, they resemble midriff tops on some players.

I'd buy and wear one, I have enough memorabilia on the walls, but they're too tight and don't fit most supporters well.

      Sky blue...nice as a one-off.
Our regular home jersey and colours must never be changed to sky blue, they're navy blue.

Lot better than the cammy ones. Would prefer a badge on the shoulder or chest like a Grand Final jersey. But this is a step in the right direction.

And something on the back to indicate the Day and significance of the special jersey.

I think you meant to say disrespectful. Nitpicking I know. I actually like the soldier and I think you're spot on with the pale blue so I say combine the two.

Next year will be 100 years since the landing - cheer the Diggers anytime but next year will be extra special!

Tell that to the dopey Dragons fan who asked me last year in the car park if I knew that my jersey was faded. I have a policy of not engaging with fools so I just kept walking...right into Trent Robinson who then signed my cap..it went straight to the pool room..as for the new jersey, I don't wear them myself but I think it would look amazing in a frame. My father was a WWII veteran so the image of the soldier and rosemary for remembrance is very touching and classy. I am disturbed however by the description of the jersey on our online store. It states it is the St George Illawarra Dragons jersey. I went onto their online store (yes I cleaned the keyboard afterwards..) and they only have a camouflage one..not special like ours.

Dragons fans can be stupid. One of my mates who supports them made a comment that the light blue jersey was gay. He shut up though when the Pink V was mentioned
