I really don't get why people are pushing it so hard. He's his own man, he's never done wrong by the club and no one knows him well enough to be making the assumptions they are.

This is the real lowlight of public forums, who cares what he does with his free time? I've never been inside one but I imagine this is the type of shit that gets gossiped about in a ladies hairdresser "Did you see who young Boyd is associating himself with these days", it's laughable.
Don't be such a hypocrite. You have allowed multiple threads bagging Anthony Minichello to thrive on this place and you get on your high horse over a few comments about Boyd.

You imagine wrong - a visit to the ladies hairdresser involves listening to catfighting and bitching about fellow females or swooning about the latest hearthrob of the month under the age of 25! I only wish it were different. It's bloody torture for me when I'm stuck there for an hour or two.

Whilst I'm sure the club would prefer that Cords kept his distance from Carney (as would I), it's his life and at this point in time there's no evidence we shouldn't trust his judgment. It's not as if he's ever caused the club any grief, despite associating with Carney for a few years now.

R6 is a Fave-Man like many are. I tried to point out something similar to him on a post he started recently about giving everyone time to come good, get over the early season rust etc. all I wondered was that sentiment, which I agree with, extended to Mini, cos as we know R6 ain't a Mini fan. Of course I didn't get a response.

On a similar note I just heard a radio caller say pRicky inherited a premiership from Graham Murray. It's a line I've seen thrown out here often over the years when it suits posters agenda.

I wonder does anyone who thinks that's correct would also say Trenticles inherited a premiership from me old dad Smiffy???

I can only imagine the hypocrisy that would blow from all the Coqqs if anyone had the nads to attempt a response.

        The FlogPen .

        You know it makes sense.

          Chalk and cheese.

Having a crack at players for what they do on the field is fair game. That is where they should be judged.

Trying to to link him to Carney and his problems off the field when Boyd has done nothing wrong in his whole career is a low blow.

          Huge difference.

Greedy666 said R6 was a self important git...a wiseacre with a carrot permanently up his arse.

            Hope this helps.

Trent has admitted a number of times he inherited a team ready to play he just needed to facilitate that,

There's no way around the fact your dad created the monster & someone else took charge of the remote control.

                  Bait taken.

For one, I actually think Ricky was instrumental those 3 years. In Freddy's auto biography he goes to some length outlining Ricky's approach, and really attributes his own excellent form to yer man, Stuart.

Secondly, your Smithy allusion is weak. The squad that won 2013 was different in key positions to the 2010 one. We brought in 4 rep players, including the best player in the comp to replace the likes of Anasta.

In 2002, Stuart brought in Mullins, Payton and Kidwell, right?

NC, take a library book like me. And the ipod...
And for the record R6, what makes you think only women talk s**t as you so eloquently put it. Go to my hairdresser in Charing Cross, take note of what is spoken about, and then head over to either the Robin Hood Hotel or the Charing Cross Hotel and do some eavesdropping there too will you? I gather you will not find any Algonquin Round Table members there either! Your comments
are sexist and just plain dumb. I expect better from a moderator. You do this forum a disservice every time you allow threads repeatedly bashing long serving players to thrive and carry on for days.

Difference is Greeds is OUR self important git and has never pretended to be anything else! Unlike some, he does not pick and choose who can be ripped to shreds and who can stay in the protected bubble.

Plus Hodges, Chad Robinson and Jason Cayless.

Gus laid the platform for us. While he never got us to the GF we were stacked for young talent in 2000.

Muzza, God rest his soul continued on the job but the players fell out with him. The best thing Muzza did was bring Morley to the club, that alone makes him a champion in my eyes.

While Ricky was the official coach from 2002 on Gus had a massive hand in coaching us, he actually ran plenty of our sessions early on.

Yeh because I'm totally disallowing this thread... what a hypocrite.

And despite all my criticism of Mini I've never personally attacked him or what he does in his free-time.

I ignored your post because I don't want to continually de-rail other topics into another thread about Mini, there's enough of those floating around already and I think the discussion has been done to the death here a number of times.

In response to your original question so this doesn't follow me around the same doesn't apply because I don't believe Mini's poor start to the season has anything to do with form, lack of a pre-season or early season rust. I've just never thought highly of his abilities post his unfortunate back injuries.

I'll agree to disagree with you about Mini I accepted that some time back but my logic isn't flawed, the difference in our opinions lies purely in how highly we rate Minichiello. Not some twisted biased agenda against him.
