  • Pearce is back to his rubbish best

Does this bloke have a clue? His bombs and short kicking game is as bad as I've ever seen. A short kick in goal for a repeat set was needed after the SBW no try. Bad karma from the opening when Cordner tried to be the hero with Jennings in support. I think they bombed 6 tries tonight, this is where we see how good a coach Robinson is. The team is a very sad imitation of last year atm.

I've got very limited time for him to be honest. Thought he would've kicked on from last year. Clearly I was experiencing the effects of a car crash; not unlike his kicking game, really.

Yeah but nobody is making Maloney look good either!

I would love to agree, but he is not the problem, across the board they are playing like an arrogant football team, Pearce this season has been our only threat in attack, sad but true

I think we badly need some new shapes in attack. We havent evolved from last year. Instead, we've gone backwards and become more predictable than ever. The Eels scored at will today down our end. We looked like a disorganised rabble down their end in the attacking zone

IMO, Robbo needs to partly take the blame. He is their motivator, afterall, and our game plans seem to be collapsing or are rubbish

I love the bloke but he's definitely giving the haters a reason to come back out.

I thought he went missing tonight. Maloney was trying (probably too hard) and I thought he was the better half even though Pearce had a LB assist.

Pearce has been one of our best this year.

He has never been able to master that part of his game over the last 7 seasons in FG. But everything else he does is spot on IMO.

And I don't think they bombed 6 tries but they definitely had no luck in there execution.
The only difference between this years side & last years side is LOD & he was not the reason the Roosters won the comp, I will say it again, luck played a major part in the Roosters success last year where as I don't feel they have had anywhere near the luck this year so far.

Leading try assists in NRL in a team so far from their best and he's rubbish.. Lol lol lol

Not sure where you get your stats from, mate?

Pearce, whilst trying hard, has been average since the Eels game

And that game really is not a good one to base players form on. Pearce has been very average mainly because he has gone back to his bad habit of not playing direct and taking on the line.
