We've never been fast starters, if you look back at our games last year it's always been pretty close at half time.
I know and it ain't working this year, Robbo needs to change that part of our game. Teams are defending better this year, most are starting fast and defending well. Like I said Easts need to start faster, improve completions and defend the way we have.
Despite the fact that we have chosen our strongest lineup possible, I'm still not confident about victory against the Eels. If anything, I favour Parramatta is a close match. They are at home, full of confidence, and will lift against the premiers. In round 2, they chose Edwards at dummy half. Peats has been their best player this year. Having selected the correct result in each of the Roosters 5 matches, I began the week confident of victory, but I'm swaying now. It might be wet, which won't suit us.

Why will the wet disadvantage us more than Parra? Our pack is much bigger and stronger than the Eels. Parra will rely on skillful plays through the backs to beat us. If anything, the wet weather should be to our advantage in this game.

Beating Parra 100 to nil means nothing. We have their measure. Its what happens the week after and onwards. However knowing that its raining in Sydney, I know we're crap in the wet.
