Same goes for Richards' teammate on the other wing David Nofoulouma. Possesses good strength, speed and lovely footwork to get over the line. I wonder how pissed off boy wonder Marika feels atm.

I said the same thing last year but got slammed.

He's got quite a bit he can work on; defence, consistency in his play 1 and play 2 carries, awareness & finishing.

He is however the best aerial threat we've seen since Israel Folau in the NRL, he's got awesome upper body strength & his positioning is always good.

If he can limit the impact of his weaknesses and work on his strengths he'll be a great winger.

Have thought this too. A lot of wingers have agility nowadays and Toops isn't one of them unfortunately. I think he lacks the killer finishing skills as a winger. Doesn't have that burst of acceleration close to the line and isn't very smart with the sideline either

C'mon, Toups is one of our most consistent players. I agree that he could have won us the match yet didn't, but that was hardly an error. I think everyone's bummed with him because of that, and are being extra harsh on the lad.

If Toops was in the same side as Cronk, Thurston, Soward, DCE, even Widdop he would be the leading try scorer in the comp. We just don't use him properly and don't have the 6 or 7 that a capable of putting a kick in the right spot for him.

We could have Wally Lewis, Darren Lockyer and Andrew Johns in our team and it would not make one bit of difference. Toups won't score whilst ever the refs refuse to penalise opposition teams for illegally running him off the ball when chasing kicks.

unfortunately he doesn't know how good he is, needs to attack the ball and charge at the defenders who run him off his line when attacking kicks

I'd like to see him come infield 20-30m for the cross field kick. Most centres now practice sheparding there wingers from chasers where as the inside men won't be as good at doing that. Imagine the bird man contesting a bomb against a half or even a second rower? I'd back him 9 times out of 10 to come up trumps

Roosters need to start running into the backs of these opposing players and hit the deck. It is the only way they will look at it. Seems we are the only team not doing it and hence, not may penalties.

I would love to see the Roosters putting away the bomb to Tupou's corner, maybe slyly bring him infield on the fourth and bomb the fullback or the space between the centre and fullback, lets see how the big fella's in the middle nulify his vertical leap.

The teams defend it too well on the edges now with the sideline as their friend

I reckon Mini should move to the left and right wings, depending where the ball isnt, and we should go with DoubleSteamer and RTS as duel FBs in attack.

In defence I'd go with SKiD at FB cos he has no shoulders and Mini is a great defender in the front line, as we all know.

Breaking new ground is what it's all about.

I'd be putting it up in the middle and having Mini Sheck and Toups infield and all attacking the opp #1, then setting it up and going wide when the opp react to seeing Toups and Sheck moving infield..
