Meh, in the space of 5 weeks we've lost to 3 of my 4 most hated teams.

And looked like shit doing so.

Look, I only mean half the shit I'm saying atm. I just have the shits massively because I'm at work until 0430am and had to hear we lost via ****ing score updates.

We ****ing suck. But I suspect we will improve. Maloney had gone from the real CCM medalist to Braith Anasta.

Yes we will. We have the quality to match it with the best. Wait until we start getting our roll on and click on. Were just in a bad patch atm & hopefully this patch doesnt run on any longer. We willl come good, Jwh back next week, sbw is back playing. We will come good.

Lets take a look at the how the other teams from top 4 last year

Manly are playin tough, but not outstanding. They had 50 tackles in our red zone and only crossed once, they let a 20 point lead slip against storm and just scraped past the eels thanks to the refs. Two wins due simply to the refs.

The storm proved last week they are nothing without Smith. They got 40 put on them by the dogs who, as they showed tonight, have little in attack. They had the refs on their side against Penrith when they scraped home, and just struggled past the Knights. They certainly aren't on fire.

Our old mates across the road aren't setting the world on fire by any means. They won their grand final in the first week, but haven't won since. Their experiment in the halves was dumped after a month, and are nuffing without inglis. Lol@souffs

Then it comes to us, who too aren't playing overly well. I may be 1eyd, but I think we have proven in the last four weeks (even though we haven't scored many in the last two) that our attack is potent enough, but not yet at the level it should be. Our defence is on the up too, especially the last two weeks.

So I think from that, we can see that nobody from the 'big 4' is playing well yet. I'm seeing signs that we will be a force again this year, maybe not like last year cause we are targeted every week, but we will be okay I think. At the moment we are just not getting the results, which is down to that small missing quality in our game which I'm hoping will arrive over the next few weeks.

          Lol..

We should have beat Manly bar the divine intervention that has been well documented and tonight were a penalty goal off taking the spoils.

Hardly wrist slashing or write us off territory.

Not going to write us off, but we should make the 8. Just very disappointed with how we have been playing. We've been average and look anything but special

                This is just silly.

We have given up 2 tries in two weeks.

We are coming to terms with what it takes to go back to back. We went within a bees dick of winning the last two weeks against top opposition - in conditions that suit them more than us.

Also important to note that both Manly and the Bulldogs didn't win against us last year so had plenty to play for and played like it.

What got us there last year was defence and we are on track there. Our attack has too much quality not to gel.

Barring major injury we will make the four - the rest is in the lap of the gods.

I think most people are worried about the fact that we have been average, and our record this year shows it. Barring the Eels game, every other game has us been hanging on for dear life

                      We are dooooomed.

Blame your old mate Mini for a lack of imagination in attack.

Calm down lads, plenty of time for all our Origin stars to put in a big show for selection.

                        The big issue is not those guys, though I agree Maloney is off the pace. The big issues are that;
                        1. Our lack of line speed in defense means the opposition is marching us down the field with ease,
                        2. In attack the pigs are making 6m a run on average, meaning a bomb is our only option without a piggy back penalty.

In short, we are losing the forward battle.

They look unfit to me, maybe a different approach to pre-season? In a couple matches we will start to see the fitness levels lift, tails will come up a bit, and then the talent will shine.

                        TIT.

                          Top 8?
No, not on the mistake-riddled performance demonstrated last week and tonite.

With the way we defend, why don't we just keep getting field goals whenever we are in the opposition 30?

With 3 games during Origin without key players and a tougher comp I think we'll struggle.
You will be supporting Souths next ... Won't make the 8 ... idiot
