Typical Pearce play.
Ironically the shot for field goal was taken from almost the same spot the shot at goal would of been taken from.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

“James (Maloney) would have kicked it (the goal),” Robinson said post match.
“I sent a message down there.
“I asked Jimmy if he was up for it but the boys were really ‘geed’ with their attack . . . they’re the players you want. You want players that are really hungry to back themselves”
“(But) I need to be really firm with that and I wasn’t . . . that’s definitely down to me.”
At that moment, definitely thought that we needed a penalty goal considering we hadn't scored in 30 minutes... but sometimes players know best... Unfortunately, it may have costed us 2 points.

Not sure what "geed" means? Maybe some young kids can explain. The only thing I found was that it's a term that means "to make a horse turn right"

Reading it made no sense, hearing it, still made no sense, but then new what they were trying to say.
As long as I didn't miss the horse on the field trying to go right!
